What this covers
UntitledPlayground is a classroom tool. Teachers write and publish MCQ exams. Students open a link, submit once, and see a score. This page describes the information the app stores to run that flow.
Account information
When you register, we store:
- Name, email, and username
- A hash of your password (the password itself is not stored)
- Role: student or teacher
- Phone, school, and class, if you choose to add them
- A profile photo, if you upload one
- For students, an optional guardian email
Registration and password reset use a short email code. We store that code only until it expires or you use it.
Exams and scores
We store the questions a teacher writes, the exam settings (including the time limit and whether the exam is open), each student's chosen answers, the score, and the time of submission.
A score is visible to:
- The student who submitted
- The teacher who published the exam
- Classmates, when the teacher posts the exam to a classroom and publishes class ranks
If a classroom has submit email turned on, the teacher receives a score summary and an analysis PDF. A verified guardian email receives a result notice for that student.
Public profiles
Anyone can look up a username. A public profile shows the name, role, school, class, and profile photo. It does not show the email address or phone number. Student profiles also show exam titles, scores, and activity. Teacher profiles show question-bank totals and ratings.
Question bank
A question enters the shared bank the first time it is published. After that, the question text stays in the bank so other teachers can reuse it. Published questions are not edited in place.
Sign-in records
Sign-in and account actions may be recorded with the time, the IP address, and the browser, so the operator can investigate abuse and failed logins.
Asking for removal
Email the contact address listed in the footer to ask for an account or a piece of profile information to be removed. Exam scores that a teacher has already shared with a class may remain in that classroom record.
